Tim Silliman is a PhD student in the Alfred E. Mann Department of Biomedical Engineering. He received his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Purdue University. His interests include neural prosthetics, bioelectrical interfacing, mechanical design, and neural computing. His current work includes calcium imaging of retinal ganglion cells and axons with electric fields, and design of mechanical and electrical setups for retinal stem cell integration and neuroprotection.
