Shana (Shaghayegh) is a Ph.D. student in Electrical Engineering at the University of Southern California (USC) and a Graduate Research Assistant at the Institute for Technology and Medical Systems (ITEMS). She received her B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2022, and her M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from USC in 2026.

Her research focuses on metasurface-enhanced wireless power transfer for implantable biomedical devices, small and wearable antennas, and bioelectromagnetics, combining electromagnetic modeling with experimental validation.
